Where to Manage Them
You can control which notifications Bits sends—for example, a daily nudge to write—from the More tab. Turn on what helps you stay consistent; turn off what you don’t want.
- Open the More tab.
- Tap Notifications (or the notifications row). You’ll see the list of notification types Bits offers and toggles for each.
Common Notifications
- Daily reminder – A reminder to write something today, often tied to Comedy Gym. Useful if you’re building a daily writing habit. When you turn it on, you may be asked to allow notifications for Bits in your device settings if you haven’t already.
- Other types – The app may offer additional notifications (e.g. for backup or account). Each will have a short description; turn on only the ones you want.
If Notifications Don’t Appear
- Check iPhone Settings > Notifications > Bits. Make sure “Allow Notifications” is on and that the alert style (banner, lock screen, etc.) is what you want.
- In Bits, make sure the specific notification (e.g. daily reminder) is turned on in More > Notifications.
Once both the app and system settings allow notifications, you should receive them according to the schedule Bits uses (e.g. once per day for the daily reminder).
