Where to Find Comedy Gym
Comedy Gym is the Bits tab dedicated to building and tracking your stand-up writing habits. It combines progress tracking, a daily reminder, AI coaching, and quick access to the Cowriter so you can stay consistent and improve your material.
Open the Comedy Gym tab (dumbbell icon) in the bottom navigation. Everything below applies to this screen.
Writing Progress
The Writing progress section shows how much you’ve written recently:
- Today – Number of bits (or significant updates) you’ve added or edited today.
- Last 7 days – Your activity over the past week.
- Last 30 days – Your activity over the past month.
Use this to see if you’re hitting your writing goals (e.g. “something every day” or “a few bits per week”). The numbers update as you create and edit bits in the Material tab.
Daily Reminder
You can turn on a daily reminder (e.g. “Write something today”) so Bits sends you a notification. This is especially useful if you want a nudge to open the app and add or edit a bit. You can manage notification settings in More > Notifications.
Comedy Coach
The Comedy Coach gives you AI-generated advice based on your recent material and activity. It might suggest themes to explore, habits to try, or ways to structure your writing. Tap the question-mark icon next to the section title for a short explanation of how the coach uses your data. Use the advice as inspiration; your choices in the app are always yours.
Cowriter
At the top of Comedy Gym you’ll see the Cowriter entry. Tapping it starts the AI-assisted bit development flow (topic → setup → development → punchline). For a full walkthrough, see “How to use the Cowriter in Bits.”
In Short
Comedy Gym is your place for progress, reminders, coaching, and Cowriter. Use it to build a routine and keep developing new material.
